CRITERIA FOR ASSESSING THE EFFECTIVENESS OF ENTERPRISE ACTIVITIES IN PROVIDING THEIR ECONOMIC SECURITY
Abstract
It is always important and relevant to achieve the right level of economic security through the effective functioning of business activities. In modern, dynamic conditions of development, every manager thinks of how to occupy and maintain leading positions in the market, optimize the work of the enterprise and achieve maximum efficiency and effectiveness of activity. That is why it is essential to properly analyze the results of production activity according to the selected criterion for the evaluation of the enterprise. Theoretical and methodological basis of the article were the key provisions of classical and modern economic science; research of domestic and foreign scientists on estimation of economic efficiency of enterprise activity. The following methods are used in the work: abstract-logical, systematic approach, statistical analysis; method of classification, comparative analysis; graphical method. The methodological approaches, concepts and indicators of performance evaluation have been analyzed in the article. A statistical analysis of the dynamics of the performance indicators of the enterprise has been conducted, which revealed the insufficiency and incompleteness of the criterion base for evaluating the performance of the enterprise. The necessary requirements for the choice and method of calculating the criterion for evaluating the effectiveness of the enterprise have been suggested. The scientific and practical approach to solving the problems of evaluating the effectiveness of the enterprise on the basis of a generalized criterion is offered, the analysis of the studied enterprises is carried out. The practical significance of the results obtained is the ability to offer enterprises an objective generic criterion for evaluating the effectiveness of their activities, built on the basis of economic laws and allowing, on the basis of the results of the evaluation and the proposed system for ensuring the effectiveness of activities, to develop effective management decisions aimed at improving the level of economic security.
