FEATURES OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE INTERNATIONAL MARKET OF TOURIST SERVICES IN THE CONDITIONS OF GLOBALIZATION

Abstract

The article presents the results of studying the characteristics of development of the international tourist services market in the conditions of globalization. It is determined that under these conditions, this market is one of the fast-growing sectors of the world economy. In the course of the research, it has been determined that in today's conditions of development of the world economy, tourism is re-orienting to the external market, with the corresponding expansion of tourist flows from within the territory of one country to worldwide destinations. It is concluded that in the 21st century, there is a tendency for a general increase in the share of international tourism in emerging market countries, while the share of the EU countries is gradually decreasing. One of the main features of the development of the international tourist services market is the transnationalization of the market, which embraced all sectors of the tourism industry and the intensive use of information and computer technologies and new means of personal communication. It is proved that the existing features of the development of international tourist services market lead to the emergence of a number of issues that need to be addressed, such as increased competition in the market and environmental problems. It is concluded that a country's inclusion in the international tourist services market has a stimulating effect on the main sectors of the economy, and is one of the most promising directions for the economy's structural adjustment. This makes further studies in this area relevant, with the end goal of forming Ukraine's segment in the international tourist services market.
