CONCEPTUAL APPROACHES TO THE FORMATION OF THE PROFESSIONAL TRAINING PROGRAM (EXAMPLE OF SPECIALTY 071 ACCOUNTING AND TAXATION)
Abstract
The state of the educational reform that is currently carries out in Ukraine aimed at providing quality education by higher education institutions (universities) is revealed. In this context, the legislative changes in the education system have been analyzed which should regulate the 2020 university admission campaign. At the same time, conclusions on that rapid economic changes in the Ukrainian society and national economy in the context of globalization and digitalization of the world economy have been made; those require changes in the training of specialists with higher education degrees for the needs of the economy. As a result, the problem of the existing imbalance between the actual needs of the labor market in specialists and the proposal of university graduates was actualized. It was stressed that currently, the rapid market growth of enterprises of various industries and specialization has already significantly slowed down, and a period is coming when economic success depends to a large extent on its rational management. Now, both the personal qualities of an individual and the professional skills of specialists whose profession is called top managers are beginning to play the most important role everywhere. According to the authors, managers of accounting departments of companies should also be included in this category of specialists. It should be noted that whatever category to the manager (administrator) belongs, the education and work experience requirements are still the most relevant ones. In such circumstances, the task for the future specialist is receiving a higher education degree, and usually more than one. Therefore the future top accounting manager will first of all be interested in a specialty or educational program that will be a symbiosis of digital accounting and administration. The article outlines the need for specialists of this level, taking into account the current needs of the modern economy. Their main task will be not just automatic generation and submission of reports, but deep thinking in combination of acquired knowledge about the development and economically safe success of the enterprise and making appropriate decisions on this basis. On the basis of the conducted study of specialty 071 “Accounting and Taxation” according to the existing professional training programs in the educational processes of the Ukrainian universities, the author’s conceptual vision of the modernization of the processes of interaction between education and the national economy was formulated, and the place and importance of accounting and taxation specialists in it were determined.
