ANALYSIS OF FOREST RESOURCES IN THE CONTEXT OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT PRINCIPLES AT ENTERPRISES IN UKRAINE
Abstract
The main features of sustainable development of Ukrainian enterprises using forest resources were considered. The main directions, directly related to the improvement of the forestry state and ensuring the efficient use of forest resources, taking into account the peculiarities of sustainable forest management, are outlined and described. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the principles, criteria and indicators that are necessary for the rational management of forest resources of enterprises in the system of effective environmental management in the context of the implementation of the principles of sustainable enterprise development. Much attention has been paid to implementing a comprehensive forestry approach to ensure a balanced use of available raw materials and components, which is an integral part of enterprise operations. The statistics on forest resources and forestry, which are systematized by the State Statistics Service and the State Forest Resources Agency have been analyzed. In addition, the established public organization - the Open Forest, which provides information to citizens about the activity in the forestry of Ukraine of legislative, executive, local government bodies, their officials and officials, about the real state of affairs in the forestry sector of Ukraine, was investigated. and about best practices in forestry. During the research it was recognized that in the current conditions of development of the country there is a great need for efficient use of forest resources, which is one of the determining factors for the sustainable development of enterprises, as well as ensures the sustainable development of all regions, contributes to improving the living standards of the population. The main focus of the study is on the need to allocate strategic tasks for the development of the forest complex, which provides uninterrupted provision of Ukrainian enterprises with all the necessary materials, taking into account the unified organizational and technical policy of the use of forest resources using environmentally friendly technologies and environmental approaches to forest management.
