PROBLEMS OF DEVELOPMENT AND DIRECTIONS OF THEIR SOLVING AMONG YOUNG STAFF IN UKRAINIAN ORGANIZATIONS

Abstract

In the article, based on a sociological survey conducted among young staff aged from 18 to 44 (according to WHO criteria), their needs for development in Ukrainian organizations, the separate components of this process, problems and directions of their overcoming were investigated. It is proved that in Ukrainian organizations during the selection of personnel there is not only age discrimination, but also problems with personnel management regarding the development opportunities of personnel under the age of 44. In this regard, in 2018, a random sample survey was conducted. It includes 90 young professionals who are employed in the Kiev region. The collected data were analyzed and deficiencies of components of development among young staff were revealed. According to our survey, in Ukrainian organizations the main disadvantages in development of young staff consist of: a high degree of dissatisfaction with the actual state of development in the organization; the absence of the development process in general among young staff; the lack of personalization during development; the low efficiency of HR services in the development of young professionals; the lack of a strategic approach, systematic and planning of the process of development among young specialists; low motivation to development, insufficient budget for development, etc.
