IMPROVEMENT OF THE CONCEPT OF BUSINESS PROCESSES OF ENTERPRISES IN CONDITIONS OF DIGITAL CHANGES

Abstract

The article examines the transformation of the concept of business processes of enterprises. It was revealed that the improvement of this concept was always a consequence of any changes in business conditions, the action of factors of the external and internal environment. With the transition of most business processes of enterprises to the digital plane, this issue takes on a new meaning. It has been proven that the relevance of this issue is also related to the country's transition to a digital path of development, where any transformations will depend on the general level of digitization of the state and its components. It was established that this issue was paid a lot of attention by domestic and foreign scientists who studied the conditions under which the business processes of enterprises will change, and the definition of the concept of "business process" will acquire a new meaning and require clarification. It was also revealed that all interpretations of the concept of business processes of enterprises refer to the beginning of the active phase of digital transformations in the economy and the country as a whole, which should be considered the adoption of the "Digital Agenda 2020" in 2018, and were hardly studied after the mentioned period. It is noted that the main components characterizing business processes are their flexibility and ability to transform by changes in the external environment, the measurement of the effectiveness of each of them, etc. To achieve the goal, the author studied the existing concepts of business processes and the period and conditions under which they appeared. The need to improve the concept of "enterprise business processes" in the state of digital changes is substantiated. A structural and logical scheme for the formation of the author's interpretation of this concept is proposed. This diagram provides an understanding of the concepts that became the basis for improving the concept of "business processes of enterprises in the conditions of digital changes", in particular as business, process, enterprise, and digital transformation. A conclusion was made about the need for further research in the direction of studying the business processes of modern enterprises in the conditions of digitalization of the economy, namely: improvement of classification, modelling, optimization, and analysis of their effectiveness in the states of digital transformations
